The AS/NZS 5377 standard was created by the New Zealand Ministry of Environment and the Australian Government’s Department of the Environment to offer a consistent method for evaluating e-waste management systems.
This Standard establishes guidelines and minimum requirements for the collection, storage, transport, and handling of end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
