Application
Our friendly team will prepare your application after determining your scope of certification, your business activities and size, location and other relevant information to assemble your engagement offer.
Stage One Assessment
A Stage One assessment is completed to identify and correct any major deficiencies in the implementation of management systems and assess the effectiveness of implementation, identification of the legal aspects, review of internal audits, management review process and other mandatory requirements. This assessment will also review the time frame to proceed for the Stage Two certification audit.
Gap Assessment(Optional)
A Gap Assessment will help you understand your level of compliance at a macro level. It will help you track if you are on the right pathway and provide you assurance if your organisation has interpreted the standards well. You will receive a formal assessment report identifying the gaps in your management system thus enabling you to stay focused and gain traction on your certification deadlines.
Stage Two Assessment
A Stage Two assessment is completed to assess the management system implementation by reviewing objective evidence to demonstrate compliance to the standards. If there are non-conformities your assessor will work with you to determine the best ways to meet compliance. This is the final stage of the initial certification and it is here where your assessor will recommend certification.
Certification Decision
Your Organisation shall be granted Certification upon a successful review of the assessment reports. This review shall be independently completed by a technical team who will confirm the adequacy of the certification process.
Recertification
In the third year, a Recertification Assessment shall be performed to renew your certification. WeCertify will plan and arrange these assessments and our certification partners shall review the performance of your management system over the three years. This assessment shall be similar to the initial certification assessment where all elements of the standard shall be assessed for compliance.
Surveillance Assessment
Surveillance Assessments shall be carried out at a minimum once every year during the first and second years of certification. WeCertify will plan and organize assessments and our certification partners shall verify whether your management system continues to fulfill the requirements of the standards. Surveillance Assessments shall be shorter in duration compared to the initial certification assessments and will review only the essential elements of the standards.
